A wellbeing day is easy to promise and hard to organise. Office massage in London is one of the few things you can put in a team calendar that people will genuinely turn up for, and it happens in your own building, inside a window you can protect.
Purple Mighty brings therapists to London workplaces. Your team walks to a breakout space or a spare meeting room, has a session, and goes back to work. Nobody crosses town and nobody takes the afternoon off.
In Your Own Office
Choose the format first: chair rotations or table treatments
Settle this before anything else. It decides how much space you need, how many people you can cover in the time you have, and what the day costs.
Clothed and oil free
Your colleague sits in a portable massage chair while the therapist works the neck, shoulders, back and arms, usually for 15 to 20 minutes. People come and go between meetings, so a chair rotation suits a larger team, a wellness day or a break in a conference programme. It needs a corner of a breakout space rather than a room of its own.
Full room treatments
Table massage is a full treatment on a massage table in a room with a door that closes, running 60, 90 or 120 minutes. It suits a smaller team, a senior group, or an arrangement where individual staff take their own appointment through the day.
Many teams mix the two.
Chair rotations for the wider team across the morning, with a couple of longer table appointments later for anyone who wants more than 20 minutes.

A breakout area, a meeting room, a boardroom, or a room you can clear for the afternoon.
What procurement needs
A supplier form, insurance certificates, a purchase order, or a particular payment route.
We reply with a proposal. It sets out the format, the number of therapists, a slot pattern that fits your window, and the price for the event. Nothing is held until you confirm it.
Corporate organisers often plan up to a month ahead. Shorter notice is sometimes possible and depends on therapist availability for your date, so send the date as early as you can, even if the headcount is still moving.
Who does what, agreed before the day
Here is the actual split of responsibilities, so you know what is still on your plate before you take this to facilities.
Your Responsibilities

1You secure the room and the access. Book the space for the whole window, including time before the first slot for the therapists to set up, and tell building reception to expect us. The quote says how long that needs to be.

2You provide towels, a clear space and handwashing access. The same three things we ask for at a home booking. Towels are for table treatments only.

3You name a contact for the day. Tell us who our therapists ask for at reception, and who they speak to if the room is occupied or the schedule slips.
Our Responsibilities

1We propose the running order. You circulate it. We give you a slot pattern that fits your window and the number of therapists. You know your team's diary and we do not, so the names against the slots are yours to fill and yours to move on the day.

2We bring the therapists and the treatment equipment. Therapists bring massage oil for table treatments. Tables and chairs are agreed as part of the quote rather than assumed, which is why the format comes first.
Office massage prices in London
Two different things get called a price on this page, so we keep them apart.
Individual appointments are charged at our standard rates, per person, for one person having one treatment. This applies when a member of staff takes a table appointment at the office in the same way they would book one at home. It is an individual rate, not a corporate package.

Day rates apply from 8am to 11pm. Night rates apply from 11pm to 8am.
Travel is additional. The minimum charge is £15 during the day and £20 at night. Send your postcode when you enquire so we can confirm the travel cost with the rest of the quote.
A workplace event is quoted, not read off that table.
The cost of an on-site event depends on how many therapists attend, how long they are with you and how the slots are arranged, and those three things change with every enquiry. Send us the five details above and we will put a price in writing that your finance team can approve.
Payment is collected on arrival and no card is needed to hold a date. If your finance team needs an invoice or a purchase order instead, say so when you enquire and we will confirm what is possible before you commit to anything.
Getting the room ready
For chair massage
A corner where a chair stands clear of desks and walkways, with room for the therapist to move around it. A breakout area, an empty meeting room or a quiet end of the floor all work.
For table treatments
A room with a door that closes and enough clear floor to walk around a massage table on all four sides, plus clean towels for each person taking a table session.
For both, somewhere for therapists to wash their hands and leave a bag.
Clear the space before the first slot rather than at the start of it. Ten minutes of moving chairs is ten minutes out of someone's session.
Not sure whether your space works? Describe it when you enquire or send a photo. We would rather tell you it is too small a week beforehand than on the day.

You can look at therapist profiles before you confirm anything and tell us who you would like. We confirm the names attending and estimated arrival times ahead of the day.

Treatments your team can choose
On a chair rotation the therapist works clothed on the neck, shoulders, back and arms, which is where most of a desk-based week ends up. Nobody has to choose anything in advance. For table treatments, people pick a style when they take their slot.
Deep tissue massage for desk tension
Deep tissue massage works slowly and firmly into a smaller area, which suits the upper back, shoulders and lower back after long stretches at a screen. Worth mentioning in the invitation that firm work can leave some tenderness the next day.
Sports massage for people who train
Sports massage combines firm work with active and passive stretching, and suits colleagues whose tension comes from training rather than sitting. If your team is split between the two, offer both.
Purple Classic when preferences are mixed
Purple Classic is our own combination of deep tissue and relaxation massage, and one of our most popular treatments. It is the safest default for a group, being neither too firm nor too light for most people.

Insurance
Purple Mighty holds company public liability insurance covering therapists working on your premises. Ask when you enquire and we will send what your facilities team needs.
The checks we run, in plain words
We hold right to work documents for every therapist, plus copies of certificates where they hold them. That is an employment eligibility check rather than a criminal records check, and we do not run DBS checks. If your organisation requires DBS checked suppliers, tell us at the enquiry stage rather than after a date is held, because that is a requirement we cannot currently meet.

The bookings figure at the top of this page covers everything we do across London and is not a count of corporate events. Ask for a workplace reference before you commit and we will tell you plainly what we can show you.
Nobody on your team has to fill in a health form
You are organising a massage, not running a health screening. Each therapist has a short conversation with each person before their session, covering pressure, areas to work on and anything to avoid. You collect nothing and you decide nothing.
- Some conditions rule a session out on the day. We cannot treat over a fever, active inflammation, an active skin condition in the treatment area, or a diagnosed DVT. We also do not offer massage during the first trimester of pregnancy.
- Some need a word with us first. If someone has had recent surgery, has an acute injury, or takes blood thinners, ask them to contact us before the day so we can talk through suitability and any GP clearance needed.
Anyone can ask for lighter or firmer pressure, skip an area, or stop their session at any point. On table treatments people stay covered with a towel, with only the area being worked on uncovered. Chair massage is done fully clothed.
